SAP Basis Lead

Role Purpose

Setup and Manage Complex SAP Landscape, Integration with Internal& External Systems, manage data security of different SAP Application based on premises and SAAS. Support the IT strategy and deliver solutions with Excellence to business.

Job Accountabilities & Activities

- Lead and influence SAP S/4 HANA simplification items, delivering solution approach wherever conflict occurs.
- Serve as domain specialist and focal point for architectural planning, assessment and frameworks including, Install, configure, maintain, and support multiple SAP landscapes and 3rd party tools
- Maintaining and developing in-depth and updated knowledge of overall SAP and related practices in terms of architecture, installation, and configuration of hardware- and software and the provisioning of support.
- Good understanding of SAP security architecture, GRC setup and integration across systems.
- Understanding of SAP security principles, role-based access controls, user administration, and audit compliance.
- Designing the system landscape, Investigate and identify the needs of the business and the integration of envisaged global applications in the existing IT architecture and estimate project feasibility
- Ensuring being compliant and having up-to-date knowledge of procedures and processes in a validated environment
- Ensuring that monitoring tools / functionalities are considered in solution designs and are actively used to monitor and improve effectiveness of the implemented processes
- Support SAP Landscape strategy through client copies and system refreshes
- Proven track record in evaluation / recommendation of new SAP system components, solutions, releases, or upgrades.
- Working with SAP Cloud Platform/BTP and other SAP SaaS solutions like SF, Concur and Ariba 
- Participate in Disaster Recovery Setup & testing to help ensure business continuity.
- Research complex application/System integration issues with functional teams; examine integration between various systems (SAP and non-SAP) for inconsistencies.
- Acts as liaison with client for troubleshooting issues faced during implementation and/or support - investigate, analyze, and solve software problems
- Maintain existing SAP solutions and perform corrective actions and continuous improvements.
- Keep abreast with latest technologies and aware of the roadmap.
 

Education & Certifications

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- SAP Certified Technology Associate - SAP HANA .

 - SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP Fiori System Administration.

Required Years of Experience

Proficient in SAP technology stack. 7+ years of applicable hands-on experience in SAP Platform and technology experience.
